Other People’s Problems Are Easy

Every person has problems. All problems are fundamentally the same. The person experiencing it sees it as a problem,  either desires a solution or desires to wallow, and works to the conclusion they want.

Simple, right?

(Yes, there are problems with no reasonable solutions, just an acceptance of reality, but we aren’t talking about those specifically.)

Person A might look at Person B’s problem as minor, as hardly worth mentioning, but it would cripple Person A’s ability to move on. Problems are a personal reflection of a person’s life.

Imagine a video game. There is a problem laid out for the player. Kill a dragon or steal a car or collect hard to find coins. The player must complete this mission to move on to the next level. If the player cheats, has someone else achieve the level for them or uses cheat codes, the following levels will be more challenging to win. The skills and tools they would have acquired in the first level were NEVER developed and, therefore, can’t be used.

Problems are like that. Which is why one person can look at another’s problem and think it isn’t a big deal. They already have the tools they need to solve that problem.

That is why it is important to get assistance and guidance when faced with a challenge. The solutions aren’t always obvious to the person facing the problem, but the solutions exist. A coach, a spiritual leader, a trusted friend, even a blog, article, YouTube video, can shed light on possible answers.

Get help when it is needed. Use other people’s experience, insights, and talents to assist. Going it alone when you don’t have to, just makes life harder.
